May I Love You One More Minute

My, how slowly this life turns I can hardly feel it move In my heart the feeling yearns To beat as one inside of you To be yours for mere, an instant In the shadow of the moon May I love you one more minute, Before our time goes passing through? There was something about the look On your face, that I could see Perhaps a feeling I mistook Of us together in a dream I break down each time we fight And know my heart is hardly in it Before the darkness steals our light, May I love you one more minute? I would fly you to the mountains Maybe drive you to the beach Take a drink from summer fountains Race our hearts along the street Wherein each memory you are saved We take our feelings to the limit But before you turn and fade, May I just love you for a minute?
