May
How beautiful and marvelous is May.
April’s rain is mostly gone,
and skies are not so gray.
In new nests, spring’s birds sing overhead.
Are they awakening the blooms
in my garden bed?
Birds create a symphony with the gentle breeze.
Bees join in while hovering
near the flowered trees.
To May’s song, bright posies nod in time.
Merry are May's lovers
and this poet who writes in rhyme!
