Mask

Got to Wear a Mask Protect your self That's what we were taught Growing up We survived doing whatever it took Now life for the past two years has been a task Now you have to wear a mask Wear a mask to protect you from an airborne virus That was later called Covid or Corona Got to keep your mask on ya When you go out And enjoy life It comes with a price That we shall not ask We should do what we are told and wear the mask Whether in a grocery store In a hospital Or a restaurant Wear it and don't share it Because that germs and we are trying to keep them away How long is this virus going to stay They told us to mask up put on gloves and we did Yet some still caught Covid So how do you know it will ever end Now when you get dressed don't forget your mask Please people do as they ask Now it's a rule you have to wear them in school I saw last night that a parent was pissed and now she made a threat to load the gun Because we have to protect the children and staff Please do the math Figure the equations Do what is told Do not fold Never knew the crime Of protecting yourself and others We have to start looking out for each other Who would have ever thought The day would come when we would have to keep our mouth covered To keep down on contracting this virus Urgent cares on packed hospital as a matter of fact Numbers surpassing Keep on your mask so it won't keep lasting Written by: Concetta Hardnett 01/22/2022

Love the passion, Concetta! actually, where I live, we have the highest vax rate in Country so no one wears a mask anymore, and everybody can breathe normal again, smile at each other & take our vitamins! this has been months of freedom for us & no one's gotten sick or died!
