Marks

You have marked me for life pain unforgiving It brings pain to merely recite The story unbearable, always living. Never leaving, I see your face These are just the start of the marks It’s like getting hit with a mace, Or getting bit by a Great White shark. You’ve caused me pain You’ve caused me misery I feel so lame While you are so busy. You bring upon memories Some good, some bad We had such good chemistry Since I was a mere lad. Marks, never leaving None have relief I spent much time grieving I’ve fell from high much faster than a leaf. I will give up many to forget about you, Yet you always come back to center stage In my crowded mind, not in the mood I am still amazed by your beautiful face.
