Marked Commitments
He was committed
to his job
all hours of the day
He was committed
to his wife,
to cherish and obey
He was committed
to his loved ones,
there in every way
He was committed
to his family –
they all came first for him
He was committed
to the whole world,
from last to next of kin
He was committed
to being of service,
through thick and also thin
And then
He was committed
