Many Miles Away
She heard the distant drumbeat
As it floated on the wind
Its rhythm echoed in her mind
As she looked deep within
She stared out her window, at the setting sun
And as she watched it disappear
She thought of her loved one
Oh how she wished he was near
But he was on a distant shore
Thinking about her too
So many miles away love grew
As he listened to the waves roar
