Man's Best Friend
A brave fireman who was covered in ashes,
Enters the blaze with a mask and some axes.
Rescued a k-9 from a building on fire,
He had to be lowered on a thick wire.
The dog and her puppies owed him so much,
Licking off ashes with her gentle touch.
Things could’ve been worse and that would be sad,
He rescued the Doberman with puppies I’m glad.
They say that dogs are man’s best friend,
He fought for those puppies ‘til the bitter end.
