Mama, We Miss You

Mama, We Miss You Mama, we miss you so much today, But we know why God has taken you away. He was in need of a bright smiling face, To come and hold Daddy in a warm embrace. You’ll be sitting with Daddy in the green grass, Talking about things that have happened since you saw him last. He’ll want to know about all the children, are they doing fine? “Yes, I left them doing great and I ask them not to pine.” We know you’re planning a family reunion up in the sky, We really want to join you, but it’s not time to say our good-bye. Someday we will join all of you up there, We will have fun and laughter with no despair. You ask us not to pine for you, that’s very hard you see, We have so much love for you, this we all agree. So our love we’ll continue to send every day, As we get down on our knees with God to pray. © Lynn B. Glover
