Thick lashes fluttered over alluring eyes followed by a scant hint of a flirty smile "Come," said the look without disguise Come and love me if only for a while. Signals sent, he bowed and kissed her hand they danced in rhythm through the night. Near dawn, when the world sleeps in peace he looked for another signal, a green light. Malachite eyes told him what he wanted to know they walked back home, more in love than before. On their next date night she'd make the first move In this romantic game they play, no one keeps score.

So cool! I adore the imagination of those "malachite eyes that gave the green light" ... I once knew someone with amber eyes, and I felt it was a signal for me to slow down (kidding!). A lovely poem, Lin. Your last line sounds like my kind of game...

Amber eyes - eyes of a tiger or tigress. It would be hard to slow down with either of those. Love your sense of humor, Tim. Thanks for liking this one.

No, because they are green. There is nothing in any of those lines to suggest she's envious of anything. We should be envious of her...don't you think?
