Making the Move

A sudden rush of blood A sharp constriction of muscles A quick twitch in my abdomen A million droplets on my forehead All indicating am not in the mood But my mind chooses to push on A shy escapes my lungs My mind goes blank Words escape my lips My muscles go limp My legs almost giving away Yet I was moving and was getting closer A smooth cough escapes my dry mouth She looks up and my eyes shyly wonder away My mouth mumbles something softly Her gentle reply brings me back to reality I had moved this far;so I realized And i knew there was no way back I have finally made the move Here i was fidgeting for the words looking for the romantic phrases i had prepared Hard I labored but none came out Stammering a few unromantic words She stops and listens Finally I have made a life long friend

U have broken my ribs brother. Thats how honest we are with ourselves in writing. So strong outside but when it comes to love it is like that. Enjoyed the description of the moments . . . . . . . .
