If I were to meet my maker,
The one with-holding my trigger,
I'd do one last thing,
That'd make my life slowly sing.

Once upon a time,
I met a one of a kind.
Accepted my scars,
Accepted the distance from a'far.

I fell in love,
I swooped like a dove.

They changed my life,
Showed me how to strife.

Then it came the time,
They flipped the dime.
Flew away,
Left my wings a'stray.

I would go their way,
Land to their dismay,
Tell them my heart,
Show them from the start.

Then I'd go back,
Knowing I didn't slack.
Go to my maker,
Get on my knees as they say "Stake her".
