I wish to leave a mark upon this earth
of heartfelt, meaningful, and lasting kind;
some special thoughts of magnitude and worth
from deep within my soul to help unwind
one's thoughts on nature, God, and humankind.
My gifts of words I wish to leave behind,
because they represent the whole of me;
my thoughts forever in a life defined
as living with acceptance sound and free,
and thankfulness I had my time to be.
