Make a Smile

It's so good to see others happy showing a much needed smile we must endeavour to make more so pile them up by the mile You feel in yourself such satisfaction by doing for others something good not thinking of yourself for a change really puts you in the mood We are on this earth for each other to love our neighbour as our self willing to give others what we would want so don't sit upon your own shelf Go out of your way for a smile make sure that others is the face that you concentrate to make happy as we're all equally in the human race Your smile is also infectious show it as long as it's day you never know how many notice so their sunshine may abide and stay

Smiles light up other peoples day, as well as the faces you share your smiles with. I enjoyed your poem, Gordon. And especially how you closed your poem with the last four lines. You might like my children's poem, "A Cup Of Giggles" which also uses the word "infectious" (spreading giggles around) We seem to have similar thoughts on this subject. :)
