Majestique the Bull

I'll tell you a tale of Majestique the Bull, In the Kingdom of Cattle that boy had some pull, The ladies all loved him; the men showed respect, Because of his brawn and his great intellect. He travelled the pasture inspecting his herd, Wherever he wandered all noise was deferred, For there was no bawlin' nor making a sound, Whenever Majestique was making the rounds. Don't know when it happened, don't really know how, But it started the day that he met a young cow, The girl's name was Bessie, with big limpid eyes, And the way that he acted took all by surprise. Majestique the Bull thought too much of himself, The ladies, just trophies he placed on a shelf, 'Til one little lady, a skinny one too, Started telling this big bull just what he should do. Majestique was proud and his ego was big, And Bessie the Cow was no more than a twig, But she ruled the barnyard, the pasture and more, Now she and the herd are there, keeping the score. Majestique the Bull is now living in fear, Because they all threatened to make him a steer, For Bessie had told them the way it should be, And all of the cattle with her did agree. The other bulls realized he wasn't a king, That they were important and had things to bring, To cows in the pasture and more in the barn, When it came to Majestique, they gave not a darn. Now poor old Majestique sits under a tree, His life's such a mess, but he couldn't foresee, That one skinny cow with a will of her own, Could cost him his kingdom and lose him his throne. It's such a sad tale, but its message is true, It's speaking to me and it's speaking to you, When thinking you're great and the 'Bull of the Herd', A cow comes along and you bow to her word.
