Majestic River
The river cracks a smile reflecting back at me
It’s tranquility awakes to chirping birds in nearby trees
The sun lights up a path for the majestic waters to dance along the way
Limestone pebbles peer up through the turquoise blue liquid to welcome the day
Swerving through the trees fluttering butterflies tag along with ease
Colourful flowers line the bank waving in the gentle breeze
A team of ducks moving forward bobbing up and town
Around the corner a raft appears barely making a sound
A plane seems to follow the river in the sky above
Imagine the fantastic view what’s not to love
Nature as given us this beautiful river we need to cherish
If we fail to do so it will surely perish
