Magic Seems Alive
Life's a jolt of reality
infused with imagination.
Pride masks aging lines and wrinkles
without any hesitation.
With sagging skin and brittle bones,
life's a jolt of reality.
Memories immortalize youth,
while death offers finality.
Passion's flame sputters and flickers,
as lovers slowly drift apart.
Life's a jolt of reality,
and yet, hope exists in your heart.
Dreams disappear over the years,
much like rules of morality.
And although magic seems alive,
life's a jolt of reality.
