Magic Kisses and Valentine Wishes
The year my dad left for heaven
My mother made a valentine.
She decked and turned it into a pleasant one
making it for her special love divine
She looked at it as a devotee consigned.
She damped it with kisses sublime.
Then she cut its middle of the heart
and placed her photo in a slit with a rhyming
quintain and she wove a red ribbon smartly
I could thus easily read her wishes partly
“Love you dear, I’m happy to be your wife
To me you’re like a rock through bad times
Your love has blessed me blissful life
To me you're my cascade in all the good times
Waiting and wishing with you to reunite”
