Maggies Legacy
A terraced house in a mining town
no fire to heat the room.
As Maggie stole the mine
and the coal that kept them warm.
She stole their hopes and dreams
no holidays or flat screen TV's
for miners on the dole .
The Iron lady had her day
and a trillion tons of coal still lay
beneath the soil of northern towns.
with the men, who's pits she slayed
We now power the nation on Chinese coal
and the goodwill of a communist nation .
We are also doing a deal for the Chinese to own a third of a nuclear plant in the UK using a their design utter madness !
