Lyrics, Man
As she walked in
I sat up
dropped my jaw
and my coffee cup
one thought only
as I cleaned up
“she’d sure look good
in my pick-up truck”.
Lord, she’d sure look good
in my pick-up truck.
She cast a glance
as her jeans walked by
I was distracted
couldn’t look her in the eye.
then the scent
of her perfume
had me trippin’
on my clean-up broom.
She’d sure look good
in my pick-up truck
if she needed a lift
I’d even clean it up.
Lord, she’d sure look good
in my pick-up truck.
So I made my play
and I met her eyes
and she cut this tough guy
down to size.
Kids to change
just my luck
She just drove off
in my pick-up truck.
Lord, she sure looks good
in my pick-up truck.
