Luxury

I shall splurge on a box of black pencils – pointy promises that hold treasures of words. The rubber end erases my mistakes, a luxury life does not afford us. 11/11/2017

Agnes, seeing this one again, I gotta fave it. You do not post up poems nearly as much as I want you to, but when you DO, you post up very good poetry!! By the way, the last poem of mine you commented on, I had a really difficult time thinking something up and made the deadline within a few hours!!

Thank you, Andrea. I have not been writing much recently; life was too busy with work and the kids coming home for Thanksgiving, and the need of the semester... but I will put in more time again once finals are over - can't wait.

Thanks, Viv. The black Ticonderoga ones are my favorites. Not terribly expensive, but a notch above the cheap yellow ones.

Brilliantly penned Agnes, I can relate as I too often write in my notebook in pencil:-) But sadly in life we can't erase our mistakes but hopefully we can learn from them. sometimes it can be a very tough life lesson:-( hugs Jan xx

Thanks, Jan. Sorry I've been AWOL; very busy time, no mental space for poetry.
