Lusting After Her

I sit here and constantly think about how my life has changed. How the sky has parted and slowly has stopped the rain. And just like a gust of wind, it all comes together and lives on the pain. For happiness I reach to grasp as it all gradually drives me insane. Bliss, she kisses me on the cheek. She sends a lustful glance my way as she passes by. Seducing me, she offers me a place in her sheets. Then she’ll disappear just moments before she is mine. It’s a tease; this game life continues to play. Surely pushing me to vow this my last day. Gripping my throat so that I shall find it too difficult to find the words to say. And forever letting me know that for my past mistakes, I will continue to pay.
