Lust
It was an early winter morning
Hastily, she dashed to school
When a lost driver stopped her
To the coffee shop he wanted
Helpful, she entered the man's car
With eyes full of lust, he drove off
In the shop, he ordered two cups
She was late, she kept insisting
But he was just too convincing
She fell for his miseries trap
Duped, she exchanged her number
And promised to text after class
Time passes by very fast
George was kind and handsome
He was caring and supportive
All this she learned in days
And from strangers to friends
Friends to best friends they went
To his apartment she started going
Full of everything she yearned for
They blissfully laughed like lovers
Beautifully staring in each other’s eyes
Then he popped the I love you question
Which left her on mute and in confusion
Not all that glitters is gold
That she knew, but soon forgot
As she was now deep in mad love
Which ended the night it was done
The night, he broke her virginity
And vanished into the darkness
She soon started feeling sick
Hospitalized, and tested positive
Heart full of agony and regrets
She whimpered herself to sleep
Singing the national women hymn
Men are the same, unfaithful dogs
