Lullaby
Lullaby
Time to rest those weary eyes
And leave this day behind
Heavy lashes falling to your cheeks
Resting now that worried brow
At last my sunshine sleeps
Fireflies dance to the cricket's chant
As the nimble spider weaves
All your wishes wrapped up in dreams
No troubles there, no not one care
So sweet is my sunshine's sleep
Feather light you'll take to flight
glowing stardust veils drowsy skies
as you stretch your tiny fragile wings
a blissful view, stars chasing you
my playful sunshine dreams
Dewdrops cling to the spider's strings
as Aurora paints the clouds with light
moonbeams hasten twilight's swift retreat
I'll kiss your eyes, to wake sunrise
my morning sunshine beams
