Loyalty
We started as friends,
you knew I had a man,
Trust for me was something foreign,
I won’t pretend,
but you stayed beside me,
told me you would never lie to me,
When all the drama,
started along with the mental trauma,
you was there to make me calmer,
you engulfed me like a warm sauna,
I need your loyalty, love me, hug me, show me
I need your loyalty, I only need you
to love me, Put no one above me,
just take me and hold me, just show me
I couldn’t stop my fall for you,
when I hit I would call to you,
made me feel safe and sound,
never imagined you’d mess around,
Reassured you took my darkness away,
vanquished fears kept my trust at bay,
love is affront jealousy injustice,
didn’t value what is speculative and corrupt,
precarious my love was as endless,
as the oceans in reality I was defenseless,
I told you, keep it direct and honest,
our happy home would astonish,
I need your loyalty, love me, hug me, show me
I need your loyalty, I only need you to love me,
Put no one above me, just take me,
and hold me, just show me
I only wanted to be cradled in your arms
and be close to you,
with strokes of sublime oratory,
of how our life was the perfect story,
the fight to keep “us” being mandatory,
do you understand this was our plan, damn
if you love me then show me,
baby come on only you know me,
our love’s perfect, you didn’t owe me,
you started treating me like your homey,
only you are for me,
I need you to love me slowly,
Remember what you meant to me,
please don’t ever forget me,
baby I just need your loyalty
All I want is your loyalty,
trust me, need me, give into me,
All I want is your loyalty,
kiss me, bathe me, put your all into me,
