Love's Refrain
It takes time to mend a broken heart
To dry the tears and make a new start
And love will come your way again
A soothing whisper in the falling rain
The rose needs both sunshine and rain
To grow in beauty and so remain
The heart needs love's refrain
To cope with sorrow and pain
The stars above could not be seen
If the veil of darkness had not been
Yet true love shines brighter than the stars
That twinkle like diamonds from afar
