Love's Red Dye

I am pulled into your tornado Without a needle in my hand I climb inverted, unaided to vertigo To prick your true love red Bled fears colour my black soul I can paint a beautiful sunset Burning red-hot like a coal Tears of romance fill my dying heart Who walks with a needle in their pocket I need to prick your eye or die You’re killing me softly like a puppet I love the faces you pull when you lie Sceptical, delusional and in love Kisses, so sweet a taste of lust Optical illusion held me high above Missed my cloud nine to hit the dust

Wow. what a profound and heart touching write. So well written, but so sad. Full of emotion and great lines. The kind of poem like all great poems written by great poets, comes from the heart well done. I'm so impressed. Well done. my best wishes. Pete.
