Loves Lost
lightless rain is falling,
and i cling to the lost,
where breathing is irregular
and vision blurred
and resentment builds
and misunderstanding understood.
i ponder what i thought i knew,
what love was to me and you.
on one hand a pair of dice,
the other an imaginary friend
who can only see this moment
and not an end.
there is no desperation
it floats into an oblivious wind,
trying feels a lot like crying
and i don't know me anymore,
or less, than i did before.
perhaps it's a lack of focus,
all i know is that beauty is lacking,
and losing,
and crushing,
and answers not.
what happened to love i'd been sending,
where are you happy ending?
