Love's Embrace
Some may deem me lost, my mind astray,
But clarity resides within this soul each day.
They may see weakness where strength resides,
Yet I stand tall, unwavering, with silent pride.
Pity not this vessel that you behold,
For within beats a heart, compassionate and bold.
Though sorrow may shimmer in these eyes of mine,
'Tis empathy that flows, a river divine.
They may surmise hunger, an empty core,
Yet contentment fills me, abundance galore.
Thirst shall not haunt, for I'm nourished within,
With love's sweet nectar, a soul drenched in kin.
No outer turmoil disturbs this serene frame,
For love's gentle touch shields me from all shame.
In its tender embrace, I find solace and grace,
A refuge unyielding, a sanctuary in space.
So judge not my demeanor, my outward guise,
For love weaves its tapestry, where truth truly lies.
In the depths of my being, love's essence does thrive,
A flame everlasting, eternally alive.
