Love's Dance: a Sapphic Stanza Tale
In search of love, I roamed the world so wide,
A quest for a man to stand by my side.
My faithful dog, with eyes so full of woe,
Watched as a new love blossomed, beginning to grow.
Once my loyal companion, now feeling left out,
He whimpered and sighed, filled with doubt.
But I realized the bond we share, so deep and true,
My heart belongs to both, not just to a few.
For love is boundless, and it knows no end,
In the company of man and furry friend.
Together we'll journey, come what may,
In each other's hearts, forever we'll stay.
