Lovely Words Or Abuse

I mean I was nothing to you right? The way you would yell and scream, “Idiotic”, I was nothing to you, I mean no more than a throw away napkin, You used me to wipe up all of your insecurities, And I kept them as my own, Just so they wouldn't burden you, You lived to show me your love, With all your kind names for me, “Worthless” “stupid” “ugly” I lived for those compliments from you, They made me cry so much, But that was just how I showed you my appreciation, And once you say how I clung to you after you gashed me with such nice things, You only gave me more, And more, And more, Till you were so sweet I finally decided I didn't want anymore cavities.
