Lovely Metaphors
A touch of joy employs
A route to love that sparks;
A gentle squeeze sets joy
A flirting in the dark.
Once upon a sparkle,
A certain feel found poise;
Once upon a marvel,
A simple pair primed choice.
From a time beyond time
A happy sense of joy;
From a depth beyond rhyme
A placid calm employs.
Here and now decrees proof
As surge of thoughts emerge;
Here and now aligns truth
As urge of feelings surge.
A time to tell on time,
A space to dwell on place;
A rhyme to spell bold chimes,
A face to live fond trace.
Live lovely metaphors
In gist most bright and brief;
Live lively sweet galore
In health despite sad grief.
