Lovely Luna
I saw one night the moon
Above the mountain at a
Gathering of family and friends
It's light shone bright through
a halo in a cloud
Glistening bright was it's
Lunar smile shining down
Upon us
Most paid no mind to beautiful
Luna high above however my gaze
She stole as she sauntered across
The lovely night sky
I stood there motionless admiring
Her elegance wondering how sweet
Her voice would be if only
She could speak
When the time came for me to depart
I bid lovely Luna adieu and
began my decent down the mountain
carrying with me another wonderful memory
