Love Was Inocent

Love was Innocent At one time, love was innocent. At one time , love was pure. At one time, love was true. How I wish that time - came back, when two people fell in love at first sight. After that their love would grow. Love was innocent long ago Today, love is not what it used to be. The word ( Love ) now is used too freely. Love is not innocent no more. Hi Lucilla! I hope you are doing well after hospital. I agree with you...'love' has lost its true meaning and as you say it has been "used and abused". The same applies to life values. They get twisted round to suit individual needs. Take care. // paul

Once more your wisdom serves poetry and the world well Lucilla. Maybe love is a strange weakness for me at times, but I truly believe love is never wrong, and when I feel love I acknowledge it without regret, regardless of how it's received and treated. I refuse to deny love expression. Maybe I'm reckless, or a simple fool, but at least I know what love is. Thanks for reminding me of this Lucilla. J.A.B.
