Love Runs Dry
Written August 27, 2012
Wine and dine until your fine
To follow me home, my lover
Rustle under tussled sheets
And embrace me 'til your mine
Infrastructure will collapse
Buildings crumble to the past
Walk along the atmosphere
And you'll be fine
I'm not looking for your hand
I just want to be your lover
Float down to the river's end
Fall off of the horizon
I promise that I won't forget
What it means to be your muse
But I can't give you my word
While all the lakes run dry
Would you follow me again
And think of me your friend?
Forget your inhibitions
And lie within contrition
