Love of Life
Love of Life
As a child, I braved such illness of hurt and strife
Sequestered in pain with no where to go
I longed for that God would look upon me
And dreamt I would finally be free
To walk upon earth with fitness and health
Then in remission , I’m fit to awake
To feel the sun’s heat strengthen my bones
Succored by angels in time of need
Alive…with the taste of human life
To instill a plan to aid the interned
To help and heal and carry the torch
with groups of many to aid the impaired
For Life is meant to be lived for the blessed
Not to be left with the solely depressed
To live your time happy as you grow old
For the Love of Life is worth more than gold
