Love Like This

Love like this… such beautiful bliss, Lover of my soul – it is He who makes me whole. Love so amazing… my heart is always praising. Lover of my heart – His love set me apart. Love so forgiving… it provides my reason for living. Lover of my spirit – the gospel saves those who hear it. Love so alive… for this joy I will strive. He set me apart for the blessings only He can impart. He is wiser than I can explain – wisdom that only love can attain. He teaches me of a grace that makes me yearn for His embrace. He is stronger than words can say – He gives me a reason to pray. He was born in a lonely stable and His story is not a fable. He is gentle as the silent dove – coloring hearts with hope and love. He kindles fires of compassion with psalms that are never out of fashion. He stills the wildest winds – offering hope that never rescinds. Love this true and sure is love that is truly mature. In the silence of the night, falls His gentle light. He never lets go of my hand – my joy He had planned. Love this astounding – it’s always abounding. When He died on that cross, my heart was at a loss… Forever, He wipes away each tear – telling me not to fear. Love this alive within is love that has always been… He lives in heaven above - He’s much more than I can conceive of, Wherever my heart goes, I praise the One who arose… He’s the answer to my worst fears, the light that grows through the years. He’s the promise of forever in heaven – so we forgive seventy times seven. He’s the sigh of a gentle truth – He knew Mary, Sarah and Ruth… Forever, He is mine … I’m a story from God’s design. I’m thankful to know the One, who did what could not be done… He saved the soul who believes – He comforts the heart who greaves. He is the way, the truth, the life… because He is, I’m not lost in strife. Without His love, sent down from above… I wouldn’t be sure that He is just that I need…if it wasn’t agreed, He is the light sent to reclaim…, seeking sinners who He’ll not shame, Sinners who know that He pardons, softening hearts that sin hardens, Healing wounds that pour out confusion – His love brings a wonderous conclusion… Jesus is the answer to my prayers, the reason that my soul cares. Without His grace, I realize I couldn’t face… The sorrow, the darkness, the fight, all the tears that fall in the night. He is the hope that carries me through – with His love, He saves me and you. Thanks to God for His Son, the One who came to save everyone!
