Thanks sweet Carrie...The Bible does say our body is not our own and we should not deprive our mates....Yes, time of need is important. It is important to use this medium to heal pain. Thanks for the visit.

Nice senryu - good luck in the contest. The last line about "curves" - "drives the fingernail into the heart" - which is what someone once wrote about the rubai form. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I prefer 'To persue for your pleasure', myself lol. This is such a deep write from someone who not long ago was saying "i can't do that". Take care, Richard

This is a very clever write Eileen. As it's a letter to a lover it reads as a reminder of what he's missing and also if the urge to stray comes to mind to read this and think only of the sender. Therefore your original ending is perfect. My first comment here was only in response to your, 'Hi Everyone Q', and you know i'm going to go for pleasure every time lol. So I'd leave it as is.

Dear Richard....you prefer pursue than peruse??? Hmmmmm...and pleasure to leisure? Well, seeing as peruse is to read thoroughly at leisure...it being what the reader does for pleasure...I still kind of like my own more....what do you think? Convinced? Your opinion matters!!! ;)

Hi, Everyone....I wanted your opinion on something...Should that last line stay the way it is or would this be a better ending....To peruse at your leisure....(7 Syllables) What do you think? Opinions are encouraged...I was also thinking of...Read me whenever you wish...tacky? Opinions PLEASE!!!!!

I hope he's not a speed reader. I think a man should take time when he reads and savor every moment. Great Tanka!

Well, gentlemen...a good read should not be rushed through, or you will miss the subtle nuances in the lines....However, every now and then, there is nothing quite like a speed read when you are nearing the climax of the plot and are familiar with the book! Oh dear....Richard and Drake...you are both responsible for this!!!!
