Dear Love, Cans't thou return to the Envelope which once sealed The essence of you? I remember you; Kind, decadent, And swift as wind songs. I know you now; Harsh, unjust, and bitter, A slow procession of grief. Had I one million words, You would not return. I know this, For I have tried. Had I one million tears, You would not return.
