love is the answer, I hope we, as a species, come to realize this.

The existential entreaty coupled with the religious reference is brilliant. For love to stand as champion on the rubble of apathy and death, there be no more glorious outcome of transformation than this Eileen. I really like how you get the body and soul involved in this poem, the motion, the physical element, the heartbeats, its powerful...J.A.B.

I miss your visits, Justin. Thank you for passing by. Yes, this was an analogy, but it is definitely speaking of human love. I don't believe true love ever dies....It may remain dormant for a while....I appreciate the visit, Eagle.

God is indeed the victor. You said a lot with very few words Eileen.

Thanks for the visit, Richard. I was hoping people wouldn't be offended by the analogy. This is about human love....I see how it could be taken another way as well...

A nice analogy Eileen. I feel mine entombed at times too. Maybe we can take it upon ourselves to try and love a little more everyday and make this world a better place.

Yes....it's hard sometimes to love those who don't love you...or who want to bring you down...constantly. However, you are right, Tim. Hope all is well. :)
