Love Is Pain

Breaking their fists Against these solid walls Piercing her heart His lover falls Taking little sips Eventually he cannot walk His heart turns cold But the gin still warm When he is alone This man cries Because sometime ago He was by his lover's side It is noon But he is still asleep It is dawn He wished it was a dream. Then he drew up a line Like fish on a hook He was caught up in the sky The trees shook, and he was no longer alive.
