Love Is
Love is genuine
When given away
To someone who
Can’t repay.
Love is enduring
Long-suffering
Forgiving
Of wayward living.
Love knows sorrow
Love knows pain
Love knows death
Yet, love remains.
Love is defined in many ways,
But, the love that gives
Stays.
