Love In Spe

why wouldn't you smell like rain and smile like the sun why wouldn't you smuggle cocaine and carry a gun why wouldn't your eyes be the water reflecting summer sunbeams why wouldn't you be a globtrotter with a rucksack and pair of jeans why wouldn't your hair be the threads of gold made of captured rays of sun why wouldn't you be like the author of Marogold not really sane, but a special one why wouldn't your lips taste like strawberries grown under the strongest sun of Spain why wouldn't you be eagerly sharing happiness with me, not living in vain so when I finally find you baby sitting on this desert stone don't doubt and don't say maybe give me your hand. Why don't we go home?
