Love Has Worn Thin

Love has worn thin Emaciated between the lids of our eyes Dust Society is in a habit of Combust not Able to conceal Emotions Incessant lies Useless Excuses of deceit Dripping, dripping Down the drain Mazes through the sewers To the taps of our water To wash our faces with We thrive on deception Start the day with misconception Plan B pills in our pants Babies in the trash Gang wars streaming out the window into the seas America Bacteria on Petri dishes Squirming under the hot lights Poke us Dissect our hearts And you will see Nothing but viral cells multiplying and dividing Transmitting and killing Mercilessly
