Love Each Other
I can still hear the screaming
every time I close my eye's
David what were you doing in my room
from the moment she woke
Untill the time she went to bed
you could hear her screaming
David what have you done now
The kids were log past listening
Take the kids out to the park
push them on the swings
turn their days into fun
then when you say something
It matters, scream to often
and your words fall on deaf ears
I used to take my son
out to the park
With respect
the child hears what you say
with respect gone
what you say is lost
so many parents, run each other down,
yet with each insult,
the child stops respecting the parent,
the greatest gift you have
Is love, love each other
respect each other,
when you run each other down,
you hurt the whole family.
