Love Calls
He is day's melody
adorned in sun-blessed hues
rich and dark the warmth,
he always finds time
caressing my hours
with whispers of thousand crickets
commands flowers to unfold
for the blooming of our dreams
I am his starlight
his woman
neutral but luminescent,
all seasons in his eyes.
He leans on me
for water's sustenance
bathes away all sorrow,
worships my eyes
with lips of reverence
and wonder ---
in love, he calls my name
at night time, he sings in thanks.
