Love Anticipation
Time moves so slowly,
as I wait anxiously for you
to come to me
I breathe so rapidly,
as I think about the moment
when you'll kiss me
with lips of longing
I am waiting for what seems like forever,
for this day to turn into night
Now time is speeding up,
moving ever so fast,
when I start to fantasize about you
Of the romantic things we shall do,
once the evening arrives
This won't be just another day in our lives
No, love has me anticipating,
I'm burning up from waiting
Flames of passion are starting to take hold of me,
as time draws you closer
I anticipate learning loving things about you,
things I never knew
Anticipating time standing still,
when this dream comes true
