Love is what everyone wants It's what most people think is missing from their lives It's what leads two people to sit in the middle of a bench when there's room on either side The expression of love is even given it's own holiday It gives musicians a topic for every song It gives people belief in forever Belief in happiness People give up their space and independence to be with one person for the rest of their lives It gives people 50th wedding anniversaries Gives them children Gives them hope When you find this love you want to hold on to it forever, never let it go But sometimes that love leaves you And you're left alone, with little hope Laying on the floor not thinking anything is worth it
