Lousy Pancakes

Lousy Pancakes Lousy Pancakes Oughtn't be allowed Especially when one Has a limited income They were meant to be a treat For me to eat But I wound up Dissatisfied Tongue - bleahed And disgruntled Pancakes are meant To make one's mouth and tummy Smile But I am left With a disagreeable expression And a stomachache If only my favorite cafe Hadn't closed down I would have not had to settle For third rate Lousy Pancakes

Hi Corinne, What a disappointment when you look forward to something and then it all goes wrong. I love raspberry jam on my pancakes. Leon

I had a good chuckle on this one. I remember being on a symphony tour...we stopped in Eerie, P.A. I got up before everyone else, went to an oceanside joint and ordered eggs and hash browns. YUCK! they fried the eggs in ransid fish drippings or so they tasted. The guys at the counter looked tough, so I, cowared that I am, simply left the lousy joint. Love, daver
