Loud Cry For God

a man knelt down in his secluded den and called God’s name; there was no answer to his call he went to the deep mountain, cleansed himself in the stream of clear water and mediated with an empty mind; there was no vision whatsoever he abandoned the mountain for the sea “O Lord, look at me…” there was not even an echo came back to his ears he came to the middle of wilderness to look up the sky yonder the horizon, his tears ran down his cheeks because he was so sad; there, no one was helped to dry his tears he left for a long journey with sack-full old memories in his back like a vanquished warrior who also lost his home; no one was followed him at the time of nightfall he was leant on the wall of house left in ruin and murmured while gazing blankly at sunset glow, “there’s no God, is it?” the wall fell to the ground thenceforth he was not found in anywhere no one saw him ever since
