Lost Soul

She glowed as I grew nearer to knowing her the better. The Devil take her soul that I as much not met her. Yet still her heart cried out. Her fever I remember. Her many stifled thoughts. Her brain a silent member. The time it took it's toll. No interest of concern. Were she my beckon call then nothing I would learn. Then shock of moving forward to leaving my own fate. My head upon the bread board. A slicing for my mate. The Devil looked the happy. Deception my first thought. I'd hit the ground while running My future in a knot. My God a man of words appeared to say go on. My fight began from there. The rose leading to dawn. The days have left me weary. My memories almost gone. There's comfort in my knowing I'm waiting as am drawn. ...and love a passing thought that anywhere she be... My love will always count should she come back to me.
